Attempting to use Plotto method

Attempting to use Plotto method to flesh out Keller plot.

Basis of “Masterplot”:  three parts to any story

(A) = Establish protagonist
(B) = Begin and Move conflict
(C) = Finish conflict; Resolve conflict

Characters are designated by A (male), B (female), A-2 (other male), etc….

Peeking into the Plotto book masterchart (pictures below), I like both #8 and # 13:

#8:  (A) = a person influence by an Obligation

#13:  (A) = a person influenced by the Occult and the mysterious

I wonder if a way can be found to mix the Plotto equations for the two.  The answer I suspect is yes, because Wallace reportedly wrote Plotto to allow great freedom of imagination and interpretation.

First, #8, influence of obligation (38): intrigued by Conflict # 987

(1319a) (1214)
A, influenced by a compelling idea of responsibility, finds it necessary to protect his friend, A-2, from a secret danger * A is indirectly the cause of danger to his friend, A-2.  A-2 is ignorant of the danger; and A cannot tell A-2 about it.
(867) (1227a)

From the Keller view:

Hanin knows a specific wound must occur to his friend during a station brawl.  The wound fails to materialize.  Hanin must commit the injury to his friend himself, thereby maiming or even killing his friend.

or

During a station brawl, Hanin impulsively protects his friend from a secret comm injury at the hands of the rivial clan.  Realizing his mistake, he must commit the injury to his friend himself.

[Aside, station brawl secret comms:  who recovers the wounded and dead?  Do the causalities return to their clan?  Or do the clans get to keep who they kill?  Need to figure out how the secret comms work.  Is the communication through injury to hard to define?  What are the rules??  I need more whiskey and fire.]

I think that we most definitely can link the idea of A being influenced by obligation and a mysterious occult.
I also like the idea of A protecting A2 and then having to inflict what is possibly a fatal wound. A then has a greater responsibility to A2's offspring or underlings.
All good questions about bodies, possession, ownership, injury as comm, etc. Also, what is it they are communicating?
I think we can establish a well explained injury to message code exchange. I was thinking certain people are designated as code bearers who at times may even sacrifice all. I was thinking certain weapon injuries, a knife wound=an immediate threat that must be dealt with. Sticks= an internal power dispute. Levels of severity.
Was also thinking messages could be carved into the message barer during combat, a sort of artistic kung-fu calligraphy.
Idk.
More fire and whiskey required!
